Faculty Contract Renewal and Rank Advancement FAQ: Getting started

Welcome to LibGuides - version 2!

Are you new to using LibGuides for contract renewals or curriculum change proposals? Maybe you just need a refresher?  Use this guide for everything you need, from getting started to submitting your finished guide.

Your account and profile

If you've never used LibGuides before, you may have already received an email with your starting username and password when your friendly librarians created an account for you. If you have not received such information, then you need to request an account be made for you by contacting our campus LibGuides administrator.

Logging in:

  • Go to the Woodbury LibGuides main page at:
  • In the lower right corner, click on "Login to LibApps" (this link also appears at the bottom of every page on LibGuides).
  • Enter your Woodbury email address (including and your LibGuides password.
    • If you've forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot my password" link.  Make sure you enter your Woodbury email account.

Changing your password:

  • Once logged in, click on your email address to the top right (in the orange bar).
  • Enter a new password and click 'save.'

To edit your profile box or profile page, click the pencil 'edit' icon to the top right of your profile box. Here you can change your picture, contact information, and other details.

Can't see your profile box? Make sure the blue label at the top left of the page says 'LibGuides,' and then click on 'Home.'

Your profile box

Your profile (see to the right) appears, by default, in the top left of your LibGuides page. It includes an image, and contact information. For librarians, it also includes a list of the subject areas you cover.
